#10 – Elevator Pitch No. 1

Elevator Pitch #1

  1. Hello Taylor,

I enjoyed your pitch and how you presented your information, it is obvious that you are knowledgeable in the subject of running. Posing questions in the beginning may be a good way to attract attention as a hook, but think about other methods to shock audiences and make them engaged such as statistics, funny anecdotes, etc. Stand up and be more dynamic with your hands! I can tell you've done research or have knowledge but are you really passionate about the subject? I think standing up and being more dynamic can definitely present yourself as more passionate. Also, I'm happy that you included your "ask" at the end for feedback, but maybe you can ask about something more specific for us to leave feedback on. For instance, I asked if my movements were distracting in my video. Great job!

  2. Hey Taylor,
I love the idea! Pacing while running is something that I find incredibly hard to control and maintain. I do agree as well that maintaining a great pace can conserve crucial energy that can help you finish out the crucial part of the run. This is an incredible idea that could change training for runs forever! I also loved how you ended with asking for feedback putting yourself out there for feedback. It shows that you are looking to grow!

  3. Hey Taylor,
I love your idea about creating an ankle bracelet to control your pace. I had to go back to review what your idea was but I know many people that don't know how to keep their pace. I like the idea of it being on your ankle because I'm someone who doesn't like things on my wrists. I thought your elevator pitch was good too!
